On-The-Rocks Margarita Recipe
The best thing about a homemade margarita is that you get to ‘personalize’ it to your liking. Here is my version of a classic Ninja blender margarita recipe that works best for my taste buds.
- 2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ ounces’ agave nectar
- ½ ounces’ Triple Sec
- 1 tablespoon of kosher salt
- 1 glass of ice cubes
- 1 slice of fresh lime
- Ninja blender
Pour half glass of ice cubes in your Ninja blender, add the tequila, lime juice, and triple sec into the blender.
Blitz for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
Pick a high ball glass and apply the cut lime around the rim.
Pour the kosher salt into a bowl and invert the glass into the kosher salt while tilting for it to stick on the rim of the glass (lime juice is a bit sticky, which helps the salt to stick).
Drop the remaining ice cubes in the high ball glass.
Pour the blended margarita over the ice-cubes in the glass.
Enjoy your on-the-rocks margarita!
Extra Tip: The kosher salt on your lips adds extra tanginess to your drink, giving you a nostalgic effect worth remembering.
