One thing you will probably notice after getting your blender out of the box is its lack of buttons. Most mixers use buttons, but not this one. The Designer 725 has a touchscreen feature that replaces the physical buttons. The touchscreen buttons are then accompanied with a slider, which allows you to control the speed which the blender should use to blend your ingredients.
Speaking of speed, the designer comes with 100 different speeds! You heard it right, 100 different speeds. This is not your average blender with six to ten speeds. You can easily change the speed by smoothly moving the slider with a swipe of your finger.

One thing you will love about this blender is the guide message on the screen. The message will slowly walk you through every preset as well as introduce you to other features of the mixer. I believe this is a unique and essential feature that will help you understand the “world’ of the blender.
The message tells you expertly the speed you should use for chopping, mixing, stirring, pureeing, or blending. The blender comes along with a touchscreen interface, as stated, which makes it super easy to clean.
You just need to wipe it clean with a damp piece of cotton or washcloth. There is no need to get into crevices around the buttons or remove the knobs. Such a smooth surface also reduces the chances of bacteria infesting on the knob or switch. In addition to the powerful performance of the blender, it less noisy and more stable. Blendtec 725: Blending Jars
The Blendtec 725 blending jar is easy to read as it is marked with large enough black markings. On one side is the measuring volumes in ounces and cups, and on the other one is in cl and ml. The jars have the following features:
- They are dishwasher safe
- Made of BPA-free copolyester material
- Non-removable 4-inch stainless blade
- 90-ounce WildSide plus jar used for faster and larger blends
- A 9.5 inches tall jar. That makes the total height of the designer 725 15.5 inches
The WildSide jar has vertical ridges that allow the ingredients in the blender to hit two more surfaces before working their way down toward the blades. This design eliminates the need for the tamper, which most Vitamix blenders use.
Another thing that you are going to love about this blender is the fact that it fits with all Blendtec blenders. For example, if you want to use a 64 oz. Jar, you can be sure to use it.
You can also use the Blendtec twisted jars. With the twister jar, you can use wet ingredients as well as ice cream. However, you cannot use it to grind dry ingredients, for example, flax seeds.
Blendtec 725: Blades
Well, all Blendtec blenders come with one blunt blade. The blade is supposed to blunt to avoid accidents when you are clawing the mixer. You don’t want to cut yourself while cleaning your blender, do you?
However, don’t let the fact that the blade is blunt makes you think that it is ineffective. The speed at which the blade is rotated at is enough to process all your ingredients efficiently quickly. Plus, you will never need to worry about the loss of sharpness of the blades. I think the approach of more power and dull blades is better than less power and sharp blades.

How Good Are the Automatic Settings?
The Blendtec 725 blender comes with six preprogrammed settings that are pretty accurate. These preset cycles are:
- Hot soup
- Whole juice
- Ice cream
- Smoothie

- Clean setting
The clean setting is one of the unique settings on this blender, and it has made the cleaning job effortless. Once you choose the cycle you want to use, the screen will display the remaining time and start counting towards zero. When it hits zero, it will shut down automatically. You can also add additional time with the +10 feature. You can add up to 90 extra seconds!

The mixer is durable, and it comes along with an eight-year full-use warranty. Most cheap blenders come along with one and two year warranty. A company that gives eight years of warranty shows how sure they are with the performance of the mixer.
Yes, it may be more pricy than most blenders out there, but I don’t think anyone can regret spending a few more bucks to buy a high –quality and durable product. It gives you the value of your money, and in case you are not impressed, you can return the product within the first 30 days. You can be sure that it will never come to that considering the features it comes with.
